Billy Coates joined MPCT Portsmouth in July 2017 with a goal of joining the army in the Royal Military Police. During his research into this career path he discovered that he would have to wait until he was 17 and a half before starting his training. Such was Coates’ desire to start a military career that he changed his job choice to infantry with a view to joining the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, the local Battalion, and joining AFC Harrogate as a junior entry. He progressed well with his application and successfully passed his PDA on 28 Feb 18 with a view to starting his army career in
September when the next intake of students starts at Harrogate. Coates has all the attributes to succeed in his army training and undoubtedly has the potential to go on to do well in his chosen profession.
Another fantastic example of our learners achievements.
