Dyslexia Awareness Week

Dyslexia Awareness Week is running from 7-13 October and this year it will focus on schools, colleges and businesses empowering people with dyslexia. More than one in ten of us are dyslexic. Dyslexic strengths around understanding complex information, seeing the big picture and communicating with others, means dyslexia creates great work at all levels, in all kinds of roles and across all industries.

We support each and every Learner that attends college to achieve a positive progression into their chosen career path.

We hear a lot from parents about the positive changes, dedication and maturity of their sons and daughters:

Below is a snippet from a testimonial given to us from a Learners grandmother

“He is just so committed, he cycles 5 miles each day, up at the crack of dawn. He’s really proud to be a part of it [the Military Preparation College]. He’s not academic, he has dyslexia so that held him back at school but at the Military Preparation College he is thriving. You can see his confidence build, he loves it and he always talks really positively about the Military Preparation College staff, their coaching and support.”
