On Wednesday 8th May 2019, both MPCT sports College RCT and Cardiff had the privilege of a visit to the University of South Wales Sports Park.
The day started with a a few obstacle courses and drill in the hugely impressive sports hall (pictured). Learners were taught technique for sprinting and changing direction, and mixed into teams with their opposition college.
They then were allowed into the state of the art gym (pictured) where circuits were set out for them by the very helpful USW staff who we thank for their valuable time.
Learners then finished off the day after lunch with games of rugby and football outside on the pitches. It was a brilliant day which hopefully inspired our Learners to potentially progress there one day, just like Andrew Rees, a Cardiff MPCT Learner did last year.
