Rear Admiral Warrender CBE visits MPCT

On Monday 21st of January, Rear Admiral William Warrender visited Military Preparation College Newport. This visit’s purpose was to demonstrate to the Royal Navy the high standards of our MPCT Learners and give insight to daily life at one of our colleges.

Rear Admiral Warrender CBE was born in India and joined the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer in 1988.  Appointed as Flag Officer Sea Training in June 2018 he is responsible for training and recruiting Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel to the benchmark expected of a world class Naval Service, together with providing training to our allies. We are very honoured that he visited MPCT and are looking forward to the growing relationships between MPCT and the Royal Navy.
